Job Descriptions:
New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is seeking a full-time Monday-Friday 40 hr./week Administrative Assistant to join our amazing team. The Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of our office by managing physician and APP schedules, coordinating time off, and handling on-call coordination across multiple hospitals. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Clinical Operations group including but not limited to the notifications to care teams around patient hospitalizations and be the key point of contact for our patient experience platform.

Job Duties:
Manage call schedule via Qgenda and key point of contact for outside hospitals.
Responsible for all provider template design and changes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Altos, EPIC, and social media web platforms.
Work closely with leaders and other staff members on special projects they may be assigned
Other duties as assigned.
Travel: This position is a hybrid remote/onsite position. Infrequent travel to other clinic locations may be needed for coverage and meeting purposes.
Required Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
Three to five years of experience as a project coordinator or administrative assistant. Experience in a health care field, oncology experience preferred.
Ability to analyze and present data in a meaningful way.
Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication skills are required.
Excellent technology skills are required. The candidate must be fluent with the Microsoft Office suite of programs and be comfortable producing detailed Excel charts and PowerPoint presentations. Must be comfortable working within EHR to complete tasks as needed.
Knowledge and application of medical terminology required.
Previous experience with electronic medical record systems required.
Exceptional customer service experience required.
