Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Biddeford, Maine. In this role, you will handle various HR duties such as full life cycle recruiting, onboarding, conducting orientations, and maintaining HRIS systems.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire recruiting process for various roles including posting job vacancies, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and extending job offers
Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant
Maintain HRIS system, perform data entry tasks, file relevant documents, and generate reports as necessary
Coordinate with Contract Agency partners for timecard submissions
Support employee engagement initiatives within the organization
Review invoices from benefit carriers for accuracy
Provide administrative assistance to the HR Business Partner
Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively manage relationships at all levels within the organization
Strong ability to conduct onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company culture
Demonstrated experience in conducting interviews, with a focus on identifying potential talent that aligns with the company's values and goals
Proficiency in using Paylocity HRIS software for managing payroll, benefits, and other HR-related tasks
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Relevant certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP would be advantageous
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
