Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Customer Engineer to join a team in La Grange, Illinois. The Customer Engineer is responsible for progressing multiple projects at once through both internal and external communication. This position is required to travel both domestically and internationally on a monthly basis. No travel will be over the weekend unless it is internationally.
This position is eligible for flexible work hours since success is measured by moving large projects along.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering, or relevant experience
Ability to solve complex electrical or mechanical issues
Experience reading engineering drawings
Willingness to travel via car or plane for up to 1 week at a time on a monthly basis
Excellent communication skills with both customers and internal business leaders in order to progress projects
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel Experience with MATLAB or PowerBI
Basic locomotive knowledge
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
PMP Certification null
