Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our team in Hanover
Park. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool
making/repairing, with expertise working on injection molds. As a
Tool Maker, you will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining
molds used in the production of automotive plastic parts. This role
requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality
craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Operate various machines including milling , lathe, micro welding
and grinder machines.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and
calipers to ensure accuracy.
Perform electrical discharge machining (EDM) as needed for tool
creation.
Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal
performance..
Skills
Proficiency in plastics injection molding processes.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in tool making.
Knowledge of GD&T standards for precision manufacturing.
Competence in using precision measuring instruments, including
micrometers and calipers.
