AquaPhoenix Scientific is a leader in reagent manufacturing, test kits, equipment and software applications used in the commercial water treatment industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled, hands-on Modem Assembler responsible for assembling and programing modem units and related hardware components with precision and quality. Must have the ability to accurately and efficiently assemble, program, and troubleshoot modems and component parts to ensure quality, customer service, and functionality prior to shipping.
This is not just an ordinary assembly job. This is a full-time, hourly position with full benefits that will incorporate a mix of mechanical, technical, and leadership aptitudes. The successful candidate will be part of a small team that generates products and equipment used world-wide to test and monitor water quality and other applications. It requires a willingness to commit to quality, attention to details, error-free programing, and responsibilities that come with being part of a dedicated team.
Although not all inclusive, additional responsibilities, expectations, and skills include:
Assemble modem components according to schematics, and work instructions.
Complete basic wiring harness connectivity and placement of components with high precision.
Perform functional tests on completed units to ensure operational quality and connectivity.
Safely prep, pack, and label products for shipment.
Maintain accurate production records and report out any quality issues.
Follow safety and cleanliness standards in the assembly area.
Work collaboratively with quality control, production management, and technical engineering teams.
Engage and demonstrate production and assembly processes during customer visits.
Provide support in other areas of panel equipment production as needed.
Qualifications:
This is a great opportunity for someone with general to advanced electronics knowledge, strong manual dexterity, and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have proven technical experience that includes assembly of electrical components ideally centered on modems and/or telecom equipment with generally 3 or more years of proven experience. Position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Advanced training, technical certification, or a degree in a related field is welcomed but not required.
