JOB SUMMARY: As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the
design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
for armored vehicles. You will work on integrating video systems, OEM
components, hydraulic systems, lighting, control systems, and CAN-based
networks. This role requires knowledge in circuit design, wiring
schematics, bench testing, and the development of continuous improvement
strategies. Additionally, you will work with OEM suppliers to ensure
seamless integration of their components and troubleshoot any electrical
issues in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS: - Lead the integration of electrical systems into armored
vehicles, including video systems, OEM components, lighting, and
hydraulic systems, to ensure compatibility and optimal functionality. -
Collaborate with OEMs to integrate third-party components (e.g.,
cameras, sensors, lighting) into the vehicle\'s electrical architecture,
ensuring all systems meet operational requirements. - Develop and manage
new circuit board designs, including schematic diagrams, component
selection, and circuit layout for vehicle control systems, lighting, and
other electrical subsystems. - Create detailed wiring schematics and
diagrams for electrical systems, ensuring clear documentation for
assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting. - Troubleshoot and resolve
electrical issues across various vehicle subsystems. This includes
diagnosing complex electrical issues and collaborating with
cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. - Design and
conduct bench tests for new electrical circuits to ensure they meet
design specifications and functionality before deployment. -
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with OEM CAN (Controller Area Network)
systems, ensuring proper communication between various vehicle
subsystems. - Drive the continuous improvement of electrical systems,
developing more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. This
includes evaluating new technologies and processes for implementation. -
Work closely with mechanical engineers, systems engineers, and
production teams to ensure smooth integration and functionality of
electrical systems. - Support the project lifecycle from conceptual
design through to production, ensuring that electrical integration
requirements are met on time and within budget. - Ensure all electrical
systems comply with relevant safety standards, military specifications,
and industry regulations. INTERACTION WITH: - Various levels of internal
staff within a variety of departments - Customers and vendors - Sales,
