Senior Substation Engineer
Location: Covert, Michigan (Project-Based). Once compelted, this will turn into remote work.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Substation Engineer to join our team for a high-voltage substation project in Covert, Michigan. Responsibilities:
Substation Assessment: Conduct thorough on-site evaluations of high-voltage substation equipment, including controls, relays, and communication systems.
Project Leadership: Oversee scheduling, budget management, safety compliance, and progress reporting to ensure project goals are met.
Team Coordination: Work closely with field teams to troubleshoot, optimize functionality, and implement solutions for substation operations.
Software Utilization: Manage project documentation and workflow using Procore or similar construction software, along with Microsoft Office applications.
Installation Oversight: Supervise equipment installation, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety, adhering to regulatory guidelines and proactively addressing potential hazards.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in high-voltage substations or nuclear facilities.
Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot substation components, including relays, controls, and communication systems.
Proficiency with construction software (Procore or similar) and Microsoft Office suite.
Must be willing to work on-site in Covert, Michigan for the duration of the project (daily per diem and travel expenses provided).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $86.54 - $105.77/hr.
