As part of our ongoing commitment to safety we provide all Personal
Protection Equipment (PPE).
This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the
refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and
adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and
fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
Must be willing to use math as needed to make work related
computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Must be willing to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and moving
throughout the facility for a period of 12 hours
Must be willing to work in temperatures ranging from about -10F
through about 110F occasionally
Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
Other Duties: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric
pallet moving equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs
on Industrial Refrigeration systems. Perform preventive maintenance
and repairs on building and grounds. Perform preventative
maintenance on batteries, battery chargers, battery racks, and carts
as needed. Train in Hazmat and safety procedures and be respirator
certified. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
6 months of Industrial or building maintenance required.
6 Months of HVAC experience/ refrigeration maintenance/ ammonia
preferred.
Shift:
C shift - Wednesday; 7am to 1:15pm
Thursday - Saturday; 7am to 7pm
