Diesel Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversight of Lube Technicians PMs & inspections on Trucks.
Diagnosing & repairing electrical issues.
Diagnose, repair diesel engines.
Oversight of Service Technicians Repair/Replace tractor component
parts when and where necessary such as headlights, heaters,
windshield wiper motors, belts, seats, windows, airlines, brake
chambers, air valves, etc.
Oversight of Service Technicians Brake jobs & Wheel Seals.
Diagnosing & repairing ABS Issues.
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and procedures for identifying and
troubleshooting mechanical issues and make necessary repairs.
Ability to read and interpret vehicle schematics and technical
manuals.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used.
Communicate with drivers and staff to understand concerns and
identify areas for improvement.
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations when working with
heavy equipment or machinery.
Must have own tools/toolbox.
