Purpose
Perform coordination of engineering and technical support including the development of construction documents as well as project and staff management.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and parameters for execution. Receive direction on highly complex assignments. Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Review work produced by staff for quality assurance.
At the Operational and Company Level
Represent project team in client communications and resolutions.
Do the Work
Specify, and schedule resources applicable to the project @type.
Create reports such as basis of designs, written narratives, field observations, etc.
Responsible for more complex tasks within project assignments.
Resolves complex scheduling and resource issues with clients.
Apply broad knowledge of engineering principles and procedures.
Oversee technical resources through project construction/completion.
Communicate effectively with engineers, project manager, and the client.
Conduct field observation visits to accurately document the existing field conditions and report on construction progress.
Organize/prioritize multiple tasks to complete a project in a sequential efficient manner.
Accurately produce the project construction required documents to meet schedules.
Attend coordination and design meetings, as needed.
Define and determine project specifications and performance criteria.
Work within established project budgets.
Possess and continue to develop a strong working knowledge of all codes applicable to the discipline.

Qualifications
Associate's degree or higher secondary some post-secondary coursework (in relevant discipline) required.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related discipline preferred.
Extensive commensurate experience considered in lieu of degree(s).
Ten or more (10+) years of relevant industry-related experience, working in oil and gas facilities, automation and control system software and hardware, and startup and commission process.
Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.
Mobility around an office environment.
Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
Occasional travel for site and client visits.
Occasional outdoor work environment which may include adverse weather conditions, varying temperatures, excessive noise, and/or potential hazards.
Mobility around a job/construction site to include walking, bending, crawling, climbing, use of ladders, squatting, or kneeling and wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including occasional survey on elevated surfaces and roofs.
Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds.
Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
