Schedule:
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No weekends or federal holidays
Contract Details:
• Full-time 1099 Government Contractor Position
• Initial 3 -6 month contract with potential extensions
• Start Date: August 2025
• Experience with Indian Health Services (IHS) or Tribal Health preferred
• Prior contract/travel experience a plus
• Local/regional applicants encouraged to apply
• Can work on any US License
• Must have 2 years of experience as an NP
• Must have OB/GYN experience

Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive outpatient OB/GYN care to women of all ages.
• Perform routine women's health exams, prenatal/postnatal care, contraception counseling, and STI management.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecological issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care.
• Prescribe medications and order labs/imaging in accordance with IHS formulary.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EHR systems.
• Adhere to IHS protocols, infection control, and safety standards.
• Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
• Support quality improvement and population health initiatives.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OB/GYN, Women’s Health, or related field
- Active, unrestricted license from any U.S. State or territory
- Current DEA license
- Current BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred)
- Proof of education (diploma or transcripts required)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen residing primarily in the United States
- Must be willing to pass a federal background check
