Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):
$25.310 - $31.640 - $37.970

What You Will Do
Under general supervision, the Medical Staff Assistant is responsible for medical staff services functions including medical staff reappointment, some medical staff committees, emergency room call panels, CME arrangements, serve as library assistant, and coverage for the Administration and Nursing secretaries, as requested.
Required Qualifications
2 Years Office experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
Other Qualification Requirements
Interested in obtaining certification for CMSC or CPCS
Essential Functions
Accurately prepares correspondenceComposes correspondence, memos, presentations, flyers, spreadsheets, and other documents as requested. Drafts complex documents from abstract ideas and general information.Researches and gathers data from various sources and generates special projects/reports/summaries. Report generation may involve analyzing statistics and preparing spreadsheets, databases or other documents.Proficient in the use of computer applications to complete documents/work assignmentsReviews and edits materials as requestedNavigates the Sharp Intranet site.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Computer and word processing, and in other office equipment experience.

Good organizational ability and ability to function with minimal supervision.
