Aerospace CNC Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift - El Cajon, CA - $35/hr-$42/hr
Job Description
As a CNC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of our CNC machinery and equipment. Your role is critical in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC maintenance, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You will be the 2nd highest level position within maintenance on the 2nd shift, so you must be an example to others.
Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and inspections on CNC machines, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues with CNC equipment.
Repair and replace faulty components, including motors, sensors, and controllers.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs for all CNC equipment.
Essential Skills
Experience with troubleshooting conveyor systems, pumps, VFD's, sensors, motors up to 480v, valves.
Strong CNC maintenance skills, including clearing alarms.
Experience with tool changers and pallet changers.
Knowledge of coolant systems and pumps.
Ability to troubleshoot controls (Fanuc preferred but open to other controls experience).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
