Description
Robert Half is working with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in search of a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their team. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency while supporting day-to-day activities across various departments. The ideal candidate is personable, highly organized, and motivated to contribute to the nonprofit's success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate schedules, including internal meetings and external engagements.
Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external audiences.
Serve as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries-email, phone, and in-person.
Maintain and update important databases, spreadsheets, and contact lists.
Assist in event planning, including bookings, logistics, and communications.
Support fundraising initiatives by tracking contributions and preparing donor correspondence.
Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, organizing records, and processing invoices.
Collaborate closely with staff to ensure smooth execution of projects and events.
Requirements
2-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Associate degree or higher; additional training/certifications in administrative support are a plus.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce or donor management software.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience coordinating nonprofit events or managing donor communications.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and budgeting principles.
Familiarity with social media management or content creation.
