Job Summary
The IT Project Manager assists managing and coordinating the transition of Maintenance and Operations to a Vendor based Maintenance and Operations mode of the core enterprise system deployed on CRM, Cloud Services, ECM, and Digital Signature platforms. This position assists with the coordination of Guardian system request management for development, support and general Maintenance & Operations sent to the Vendor(s) to perform the requests on behalf of Agency; acts as the liaison between the Agencies customers and vendors; works directly with business customers, Agency Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, Test and IT resources. It also requires direct interaction with the Vendor and related resources from the Vendor, including Business Analysts, Development, and Quality Assurance teams; works with onshore and offshore developers as well as Quality Assurance and Test teams that may be made up of internal and external resources, as well as the any previous vendors that the requirements and tasks had been outsourced to. In addition to standard Program/Project management functions, this position will be responsible for the continuing
coordination of requests with the business units, classification and prioritization of requests for submission to the Vendor for execution; coordinates and manages planning activities between Agency and Vendor teams; guides teams to resolutions of unscheduled P1 priorities vs already planned work; participates in planning sessions and Standups.
This position requires proficiency in hybrid Waterfall/Agile methodologies where methodology may vary with Program aspect. The IT Project Manager should be able to smoothly transition from one methodology to another within the same program as dictated by tasking and schedule.
This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).

Job Duties
- Performs a variety of journey-level project management work in planning, coordinating, and managing one or more small to medium-scale projects of low to medium complexity/risk simultaneously, which may have Agency wide or multi department impact.
- Participates in and may lead planning and/or implementation of projects.
- Managing projects using the Agency Project Management Standards; developing approaches as necessary given organizational culture, situational nuances, project constraints, to ensure project success.
- Develop project proposals inclusive of business justification, scope, risk assessment, and goals/objectives; facilitating meetings with customers, staff, Vendors and contractors in support of project activities.
- Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes. Facilitate resolution of project issues; scheduling and tracking resource needs and activities (including Agency staff, contractors, Outside agencies and Vendors) to meet project objectives and ensure overall quality of work. Manages project budget and resource allocation.
- Resolves or assists in there solution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all project processes and documentation, management reports, and project status reports according to Agency Project Management Office (PMO) standards.
- Coordinates the definition of service levels and customer requirements.
- Participates in the design and/or testing phases.
- Facilitates the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Responds promptly to customer needs; takes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments; manages difficult or emotional customer situations; fosters relationships.

Selective Preference(s)
Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of experience in project coordination and management (or equivalent experience). Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred.
Pre-Employment Requirements
The ability to secure and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and the ability to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.
