Description
A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) is seeking a full-time non-exempt Administrative Assistant on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position reports to the Dean and Vice Dean. This is a full-time on-campus position that will support the Dean's office. The administrative assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations in the ASHS Dean's office and all of ASHS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and direct Dean's office visitors at the front desk.
Work with Dean and Vice Dean on operations for ASHS.
Assist in the Dean's office activities.
Assist in managing meeting schedules and calendars.
Email communication as directed.
Assist in all purchases and orders for ASHS.
Complete travel reimbursements for the Vice Dean.
Order supplies for the school.
Taking of various committee minutes.
Assist in yearly ASHS events when needed.
Dean's annual report.
Maintain copiers and printers for ASHS.
Assist with the preparation of the Chair's retreat, ASHS committees, and office staff meetings.
Preparing Dean and Vice Dean reports as needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred or work experience equivalent.
Up to one year of related experience preferred.
High-level written and verbal communication skills for performing business at the Dean's level.
Excellent ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and reports for the Dean and Vice Dean.
High emotional intelligence to maintain a calm and steady atmosphere in the front office as greet guests, and communicate on behalf of the dean's office.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the Dean's office.
Excellent time management and organization skills are required to work in a high-volume office.
