A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Global Head of Software Architecture, your day will be dynamic and impactful. From reviewing the current status of various projects, setting priorities, and aligning the team's efforts for the day. Deep dives into system design, particularly focusing on the seamless integration of IT/OT and Automation systems within the energy sector. Leading client workshops, aiming to deeply understand their specific needs and how your innovative software solutions can drive their success. Collaboration is key, and you'll spend time closely with your team to address a technical challenge, leveraging your industry knowledge to devise an effective solution. Leadership and development are also important, as you take time to mentor junior team members and review the team's progress towards the strategic roadmap you've outlined, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with the company's vision and goals.
How You'll Make an Impact
Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems, ensuring they meet industry-specific requirements and drive innovation in the energy sector.
Architect scalable, maintainable microservices-based solutions, integrating advanced technologies like machine learning to enhance architectural designs.
Engage with clients through discovery workshops, aligning software solutions with their business needs and fostering strong, impactful relationships.
Drive efficiency and effectiveness in project management, from budget execution to resource allocation, ensuring the success of our software development lifecycle.
Shape the future direction of our services by providing a strategic roadmap, aligning stakeholders, and setting the stage for upcoming initiatives.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture and digital consulting, ideally within the energy sector or related industries.
Proven track record of designing and implementing complex software systems and applications.
Expertise in modern connectivity protocols (e.g., MQTT, Nats, OPC UA) and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex projects from concept to completion.
Excellent leadership abilities, with a focus on mentoring and supporting a team of experienced professionals.

We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
