A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Global Head of Technology & Software Development, your day will seamlessly blend strategic oversight with hands-on innovation. You'll be evaluating the progress of our R&D projects, focusing on integrating advanced technologies like AI and IoT into our offerings. You'll brainstorm with engineers on new advancements and manage budgets closely with the finance team. You may also lead workshops with architects to ensure smooth integration of solutions, concluding with a review of new technologies to keep our projects cutting-edge. This role is a dynamic mix of strategy, innovation, and leadership, driving our digital transformation forward.
How You'll Make an Impact
Spearhead the software development team for digital solutions, utilizing cutting-edge technologies like AI, AR/VR, and IoT.
Oversee R&D budget and resources to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality digital solution delivery.
Conduct strategic R&D and collaborative development with clients and third parties to foster innovation.
Lead and mentor a digital and solution engineering team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovative mechanical design.
Implement strict quality standards and protocols to maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal specifications.
Engage in thought leadership and intellectual property generation, while staying abreast of emerging technologies to enhance EAD's performance and reliability.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in technology management and R&D leadership with a focus on digital solutions for Oil and Gas, Process Industries or Maritime.
Passionate about strategic planning, innovation, and integrating technology solutions for enhanced service delivery and digital transformation.
Experienced in technology management and software development, with a history of leading cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.
Skilled in managing R&D projects and securing funding, demonstrating a strong capability in project oversight and financial acquisition.
Excellent communicator with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation, particularly in advancing hydrogen stack technology through enhanced mechanical design processes.

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
