our community. This Administrative Assistant role provides
administrative support to a grant funded program within Mission and
Ministry. This position will perform a variety of responsibilities to
facilitate day-to-day operations, including program planning, budget
administration, and personnel coordination. This Administrative
Assistant role interacts with both external and internal constituents,
resolving routine and non-routine issues. This role provides advanced
administrative support to senior leadership positions or departments,
communicating with executives, faculty, staff, and vendors. This is your

culture of respect and inclusion. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Serve
as a member of the planning team, assisting with the planning and
execution of events, securing venues, assisting in event promotions
through various media, shopping for and transporting supplies and
refreshments to venues, and providing for the needs of the participants
(handouts, materials, refreshments, etc.). Schedule meetings as
appropriate. 2. Responsible for tracking the budget, including
expenditure, using Marquette financial systems. May be required to
create and submit appropriate salary authorizations. Develop the annual
budget report in conjunction with the supervisor, the comptroller, and
the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. 3. Assist in creating
printed and electronic publicity materials, as needed. Provide
organizational support for conferences, meetings and retreats. Order and
purchase supplies as needed. Following the university\'s policies,
process speaker/venue contracts and payments. Assist with the creation
and editing of the annual reports, as needed. Manage digital files in
the Companions in Ministry SharePoint folder. 4. Serve as a contact
person for individual pastors, Marquette University partners and staff
members, community partners, and denominational leadership across
Christian churches, as needed. 5. Develop and maintain the project
website and maintain social media platforms. 6. Serve as a liaison with
retreat facilities. Attend and provide administrative support at two to
three retreats per year. Each retreat involves two or three consecutive
days at a retreat center including overnight stays. ** OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or GED A minimum of 2 years of experience in a
similar administrative @type of position Solid understanding of Microsoft
Software, i.e. Word; Excel; SharePoint, and PowerPoint Additional
computerskills in creating/maintaining databases in Excel or CRM tool,
using Doodle or other scheduling programs Experience in or ability to
learn Marquette Financial System (MFS ) Basic on-line publishing skills
or willingness to learn; ability to learn webpage construction and
maintenance using Marquette\'s system Basic skills in using Mailchimp
for promotional emails, or ability to learn Excellent written and oral
communication skills Experience working with the public Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience in or familiarity with
Christian faith-based organizations. Ability to create promotional
materials (digital and print). Ability to manage social media accounts
