Responsibilities:
HR Compliance: Ensure HR policies align with local, state, and federal labor laws, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
Employee Records: Manage employee files and HRIS systems, including onboarding documents, annual reviews, and performance tracking
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to HR staff, including scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and assisting in payroll coordination
Benefits Administration: Assist employees with enrollment in health, retirement, and other benefits programs, while ensuring accuracy in documentation
Talent Support: Help coordinate training and development programs, mentoring initiatives, and other efforts to upskill and support employees
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years as an HR administrator or similar position, ideally in education, healthcare, or nonprofit industries (Source: xHR SG25-TREND 6).
Technical Proficiency: Experience with HRIS tools such as Workday, ADP, or similar platforms. Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Source: Skills and Certifications).
Skills & Certifications: Professional level HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are preferred, but not required (Source: Skills and Certifications).
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written skills to interact with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in HR processes and compliance within a fast-paced environment.
