A regional firm with multiple offices in CA is seeking a 7+ year Litigation Administrative Assistant to provide crucial support to the labor & employment litigation team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and Manage Legal Documents: Create, edit, and format a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Firm standards.
Ensure Proper Court Filings: Format and file court documents in compliance with all relevant court rules and administrative procedures, utilizing Firm software for tables of authorities and contents.
Coordinate Meetings and Travel: Manage scheduling and logistical arrangements for meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and attorney travel.
Maintain Organized Case Files: Establish and maintain well-organized physical and electronic files and binders for case-related materials.
Manage Attorney Schedules: Maintain accurate Outlook calendars for attorneys and the office, coordinating with Docketing for critical deadlines.
Process Billing and Expenses: Enter attorney time entries, assist with monthly billing reviews, prepare check requests, and process expense reports.
Ensure Document Accuracy: Proofread all documents for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
Support Business Development Initiatives: Collaborate with attorneys on activities related to practice growth.
Pay is contingent upon experience as a Litigation Administrative Assistant (or Legal Secretary / Paralegal) with the duties above, fluency to operate independently, and knowledge of labor & employment law.

Requirements
7+ years of civil litigation support experience in CA, ideally some in labor & employment law
Knowledge of CA civil codes & procedures (how to electronically file court documents, how to calculate litigation deadlines)
Ability to commute to downtown San Diego daily (parking provided in building)
