This job will a contribute to the design of cutting-edge turbo machinery technologies.
The candidate for this job will help expand our knowledge and capability of turbo machines and other aerospace hardware used for both military and civilian applications by overseeing development programs that involve testing and troubleshooting many aspects of Aerospace hardware.
Key Responsibilities
Designing Electrical solutions to unique problems, transforming concepts and ideas into AutoCAD Electrical drawings that will be fabricated into hardware: panel and enclosure layouts, cable and harness assemblies, and a bill of materials
Designing Facility Control Systems (FCS) architecture from concept to drawings, construction to commissioning
Designing Unit Under Test (UUT) control interface architecture from concept to drawings, construction to commissioning
Designing and troubleshooting start systems, load banks, and dynamometers
Troubleshooting electrical issues or modifying facility screens to add capabilities or fix issues
Responding quickly with quality solutions to support our customers
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
18+ years' experience in testing environment overseeing testing of hardware
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
· Experience using AutoCAD Electrical to design start systems and loading systems like eddy current and water dynos
WE VALUE
· Experience with PLC's, including GE, Allen-Bradley, or Emerson PLC 's .
· Analyze output from designed loading systems
Working knowledge of industry electrical standards (UL508A, NFPA79, IEC, NEC)
A good grasp of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
Experience operating standard test equipment: digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical measurement tools
Experience with programing languages like Ladder Logic (generally code with for PLCs), C+

Proven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Experience-solving technical problems utilizing analytical thinking
