Tax Analyst!
Description
Collaborate with the shared service team to provide guidance on preparing sales and use tax returns.
Review and file sales and use tax returns for various jurisdictions.
Manage exemption certificates and ensure proper documentation.
Research and analyze the taxability of products and services.
Reconcile sales tax data with general ledger accounts.
Assist with sales and use tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
Prepare and file property tax returns.
Manage property tax payments and assessments.
Calculate annual property tax accruals.
Research and initiate property tax appeals when necessary.
Conduct in-depth research on complex indirect tax issues.
Interpret tax regulations and apply findings to business operations.
Document research findings and maintain a repository of tax information.
Utilize tax research software to stay current on legislative changes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of experience in Accounting
Understanding of State Tax laws and Compliance
Experience Level
Intermediate Level
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
