JOB REQUIREMENTS: Talgo, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Shop Manager in
Milwaukee, WI. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
supervising workers in cleaning, setting up, installing, repairing, and
maintaining systems and equipment. The manager will lead the mechanical
management team, enforce company policies, and ensure compliance with
FRA, OSHA, EPA, FDA, AAR, and other regulations. Additional duties
involve coordinating activities of the Mechanical department, including
planning daily production goals, safety initiatives, budget feedback,
and recommending improvements. The manager will monitor parts, maintain
tools, provide technical expertise, develop training courses, oversee
the manufacturing schedule, and conduct performance evaluations. The
manager will act as the technical expert on all mechanical systems and
equipment and will interpret and implement engineering drawings and
technical papers. The manager will interview and hire employees, direct
work, and coordinate with managers, handle performance evaluations,
organize and conduct technician training, and carry out other
supervisory responsibilities. Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in
manufacturing/operations management, industrial, mechanical or
manufacturing engineering or related and 36 months of experience in
manufacturing management, industrial, electrical, mechanical maintenance
systems. Proficiency in the Spanish language are preferred. \This
