Repair Department of Health and Human Services Annual Salary Range:
\$57,553.60 - \$66,996.80 JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the
Housing Program Manager, the Housing Inspector - Home Repair performs
comprehensive inspections of private properties identified for
rehabilitation; inventories repair work needed; creates and approves
scopes of work; estimates rehabilitation costs; ensures all
rehabilitation and new construction work performed by contractors
conforms to scopes of work as well as building codes, construction
specifications, and Federal HUD and State regulations. JOB DUTIES:
Performs comprehensive inspection of residential properties to prepare
scopes of work for projects, including construction, electrical,
plumbing, lead hazard abatement work (including lead risk assessments),
and accessibility work (architectural barrier removal). Uses field
