We are looking for an office manager trainee:
You will act as the face of our company and ensure customers feel welcome and are taken care off. Orders will come in via email, phone
in person. You will coordinate order shipping by printing shipping labels and delivering them to the shipping crew, manage back orders and keep customers updated about delayed shipping and back-orders.
As an office manager, you should be responsible for keeping track of inventory levels and maintain inventory spreadsheets up to date.
Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid understanding of customer service.
This job requires that you work well with other team members, are able to multitask and deal well with sometimes stressful situations.
Responsibilities
Make sure the orders are shipped in a timely manner
Check orders for possible mistakes that customers introduced during check out
Maintain Inventory levels and help ensure adequate inventory levels
Inform customers of out of stock SKUs and update on ETAs
Ensure timely and accurate customer service
Manage dissatisfied customers, problem solve and suggest possible resolutions
Troubleshoot emergencies
Ensure proper mail distribution
Communicate well with the shipping/stocking departments
Have a commitment to attendance Skills
Six months of proven work experience as administrative assistant in a demanding office
Proficiency with MS Office apps: Excel/Word/Publisher/PDF editor
Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Excellent communication and people skills
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Problem-solving skills
College degree preferred
