If so, Brazos Electric Power Cooperative is looking for a Records Coordinator to join our Regulatory Compliance team!
About the Role
As a Records Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing our companys records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting our operating insurance program. Youll work closely with teams across the organization to maintain an efficient and accessible document management system while assisting with insurance claims, renewals, and policy documentation.
What Youll Do
Records Management
Maintain a comprehensive records management system, ensuring all records are properly identified, organized, labeled, and indexed.
Upload and manage documents, including contracts, insurance policies, procedures, tariffs, and compliance materials.
Oversee the conversion of records to digital formats and ensure proper retention and disposition of company documents.
Maintain and distribute updated company tariffs and Board Policies to management and member-owners.
Assist employees in navigating the document management system and respond to record requests.
Insurance Administration
Support the insurance renewal process, including loss control visits, documentation, and certificate issuance.
Oversee the claims process, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-up.
Manage insurance certificates and communicate with insurance providers as needed.
Maintain records of policies, proof of insurance, and monthly claims reports.
Additional Responsibilities
Coordinate bid package development and review of bids for construction projects.
Support audits and inspections related to record-keeping practices.
Stay current with best practices in digital recordkeeping and regulatory compliance.
Provide general administrative support and assist with division-wide tasks.
What Youll Bring
Education:
Associates degree in business, management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be partially substituted for education.
Experience:
At least two (2) years of experience in records management, contract administration, or a related field.
Preferred Knowledge:
Familiarity with Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Rural Utilities Service (RUS) standards, and applicable federal and state regulations is a plus.
