GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The AEL Administrative Assistant supports the daily functions of the Adult Education Department by serving as the first point of contact for students and the community. This position provides general information, answers inquiries, and assists students with the enrollment process for the AEL program, ensuring clear communication and a smooth intake experience. By ensuring efficient administrative support, this role helps maintain smooth program operations and enhances the student experience. This position receives general direction from the Project Director of Adult Education and Literacy and exercises no supervision.
NOTE:

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
