Analyze and process data for use in neuro-navigation systems in the operating room and interpret and discuss scan results with neurologists and neurosurgeons during surgery; Acquire and analyze clinical data from epilepsy and neurosurgery patients for pre-surgical evaluation and localization of epileptiform activity and cognitive function; Direct and coordinate maintenance, repair, and acceptance testing of MEG equipment. Requires Master's or foreign equivalent in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering, or related, plus 36 months of experience as a Biomedical Engineer, MEG Engineer, or related. Experience must include three years: 1) repairing and testing EEG or MEG equipment; 2) developing biomedical clinical devices; and 3) interacting with patients. Must have first-authored at least one published article in the field of epilepsy or brain mapping, using advanced analytic methods to analyze clinical data from epilepsy or neurosurgery patients.
