I. PRIMARY FUNCTION/GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the ASU and PACU team in the area of restocking with minimal patient interaction. The employee is expected to follow instructions and/or written task schedules to accomplish assigned duties. This position serves all populations of visitors, employees, physicians, and patients.

III. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Communicates all hospital-related issues honestly, professionally, and timely to Job Coach, Team Leaders, Administrative Assistant, Manager, or Director.
Performs the duties necessary to maintain sanitary conditions
Restocks supplies, maintains ice pitchers, and greets patients
Performs general cleaning tasks
Adheres to hospital attendance policy (HR-02)
Responsible for the use and care of equipment and other hospital property.
Understands basic safety procedures (RACE, PASS, MSDS, etc.)
Consistently maintains hospital standards of personal hygiene and appearance
Performs all assigned tasks effectively in a responsible team environment
Completes work assignments in a timely manner
Follows all Infection Control practices, including bio-hazard waste handling, hand washing techniques, and standard or isolated precautions
Maintains a good rapport with fellow associates, physicians, and staff
