Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician
Job Description
Responsible for complete mechanical and electrical assembly of units from start to finish using a variety of hand and power tools. This role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, as well as knowledge of computers, including Excel, PC knowledge, and data entry. The technician will read schematics, wire diagrams, and service manuals to build units, lay out and build control panels (PLCs, drives - not programming), assemble conveyors, install motors, and build panel boards. Additionally, the role involves performing simple, repetitive tasks as well as high-level assembly, including troubleshooting and repairing components. The technician will also assist with other tasks around the facility, such as warehouse and packaging duties, and install wiring, electric components (terminals, jump fuses), and panels.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Knowledge of computers, including Excel, PC knowledge, and data entry.
Ability to read schematics, wire diagrams, and service manuals.
Experience in laying out and building control panels (PLCs, drives - not programming).
Proficiency in assembling conveyors, installing motors, and building panel boards.
Troubleshooting and repairing components.
Familiarity with computer software other than Microsoft Office.
Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and understand new computer programs.
Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electric components.
Knowledge of gears, drives, pneumatics, and automation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
