Edwardsville is currently seeking dynamic and qualified applicants for
the role of Admission Coordinator. This position plays a crucial role in
providing information about educational opportunities available at the
university to prospective students and their families.\
\
As an Admission Coordinator, your responsibilities will include advising
and counseling prospective students and their families, interacting with
counselors, faculty, and administrators, making public presentations,
and representing the university at college day/night programs at high
schools, colleges, and college fairs. You will also be responsible for
managing and overseeing critical projects such as human resource
management (students), which is essential in meeting our enrollment
goals and driving revenue in the form of tuition, fees, and room and
board.\
\
With this position, you will work with a substantial budget and provide
critical services that impact enrollment at SIUE. Your efforts will be
focused on increasing enrollment by attracting academically strong
students from diverse backgrounds who value integrity and citizenship.

responsibilities.\

Key Duties and Responsibilities:\
\
Planning of fall/spring travel by using past visit reports; visiting
high schools and representing the University at college fairs;
attending off-campus receptions; completing visit reports; making
congratulatory phone calls to admitted students and scholarship
recipients; building and maintaining strong relationships with high
school and community college staff.
Meeting with prospective students and parents; giving presentations
about the University; answering phone calls and emails regarding
University Admissions policies and program options; providing
assistance with questions related to financial aid and scholarships.
Oversee the planning, development, and execution of specific
initiatives including human resources (students) that play a
critical role in meeting established enrollment goals. Manages a
substantial budget and brings in revenue (new students) in the form
of tuition, fees, and room and board. In addition, provides
assessment of activities through weekly reports and annual report
(reference attached).
Planning and executing onsite admissions; creating and updating
webpages; reviewing and proofing publications; Alumni initiative;
developing resources that promote assistance and service for
undocumented students; anwering admissions emails; managing social
media outreach (Facebook, Twitter, etc.); electronic newsletter;
group tours.
\
Work Schedule: This position is full-time, requiring 37.5 hours
per week. The standard work week runs from Monday to Friday, with
working hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the fall recruitment
season (August - November), significant overnight travel is required.\
\
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications\

Minimum requirements for the position is a Bachelor of Science or
Bachelor of Arts degree
