JOB REQUIREMENTS: Talgo, Inc. seeks an Electrical Shop Manager in
Milwaukee, WI. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
supervising workers and overseeing electrical systems on trains. The
manager will supervise and coordinate work for Electrical and
Commissioning Department on electrical panels, cabinets, electrical
equipment, wiring, harnesses, and other systems; ensure compliance with
company policies and FRA, OSHA, EPA, FDA, AAR, and other regulations,
and manage budgets and schedules. The manager will interpret and
implement engineering documents and technical papers; monitor parts
usage, maintain tools, and recommend process improvements. The manager
will maintain and oversee manufacturing schedules, adjust work
procedures, and act as the technical expert on all electrical systems
and equipment. The manager will interview and hire employees, direct
work, and coordinate with managers, handle performance evaluations,
organize and conduct technician training, and carry out other
supervisory responsibilities. Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in
manufacturing/operations management, industrial, mechanical or
manufacturing engineering or related and 36 months of experience in
manufacturing management, industrial, manufacturing, electrical or
electronics engineering/systems or related & 36 mo. exp/ in
manufacturing management, industrial/electrical maintenance, diagnosing
electronic systems. Proficiency in the Spanish language is preferred.
