Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Specific engineering responsibilities include creating schematics with CAD, generating Bills of Material, creating new assemblies/part drawings, programming PLCs & HMIs, performing field startup & test, working with 480VAC, tuning and commissioning motors using VFDs, creating loading calculations, sizing wiring, laying out conduit and wire routing schedules, and traveling to customer sites. Non-engineering responsibilities include working with project managers to meet project deadlines, collaborating with purchasing to spec parts, and working with manufacturing to guide in wiring assemblies. This position will report to the Electrical Engineering Supervisor. The job consists of approximately 80% office work and 20% field work.
Responsibilities
Create schematics with CAD.
Generate Bills of Material.
Create new assemblies/part drawings.
Program PLCs & HMIs.
Perform field startup & test.
Work with 480VAC.
Tune and commission motors using VFDs.
Create loading calculations.
Size wiring and lay out conduit and wire routing schedules.
Travel to customer sites.
Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines.
Work with purchasing to spec parts.
Guide manufacturing in wiring assemblies.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69/hr.
