Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work independently, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.
Responsibilities
Keep machinery operating at optimal efficiency through effective management, preventive maintenance, problem solving, and reporting in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
Diagnose and repair equipment in the event of equipment breakdown.
Assist with line changeovers in the bakery and packaging rooms as necessary.
Support the baker and supervisor during start-up of ovens.
Work with electrical motors/drives and perform electrical troubleshooting.
Perform general preventive maintenance including regularly scheduled lubrication and adjustments on all equipment.
Work on daily project list provided by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Follow company safety procedures per OSHA regulations.
Adhere to quality and food safety tasks for the position.
Essential Skills
Basic knowledge of electrical (AC/DC Motors, 3 phase wiring), hydraulic/pneumatic and mechanical maintenance.
Experience with industrial mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic repair, and food processing.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Adaptable to make changes quickly and accurately.
Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights of up to 30 ft.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding skills (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with air compressors.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to tolerate warm working temperatures and enclosed work areas.
Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Ability to wear non-slip shoes and follow GMP guidelines.

Work Environment
You will work in a food processing plant that is clean and temperature-controlled. You must follow GMP guidelines, wear boots, clean working clothes, and all necessary PPE. Expect various levels of noise exposure, some heavy lifting up to 75 pounds, and moderate exposure to chemicals. Temperatures can reach up to 130 degrees when in the Oven Room.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lititz, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
