Job Title: Maintenance Technician III
Pay Rate: $25-35/hr depending on experience
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, install, and repair complex, specialized machines and equipment to achieve efficiency, quality, and optimum production objectives. This role requires experience in at least two skilled trades including, but not limited to, production and facility machinery, electronics, automation and controls, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and more.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Install, diagnose, analyze, maintain, modify, repair, and/or rebuild a variety of complex and specialized plant and facility equipment.
Perform root cause analysis and repair equipment during mechanical breakdowns or assist other staff in repairs.
Assist production personnel in change-over and set-ups.
Dismantle defective machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas or to install new or repaired parts.
Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration issues.
Communicate with operators to detect equipment problems and ascertain whether mechanical or human error contributed to the problems.
Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work orders.
Operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), hoist, crane, and aerial lift.
Inspect, operate, or test faulty machinery and equipment using test equipment or software.
Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently.
Maintain accurate documentation for assignments, machine repairs, parts inventory, and maintenance logs.
Understand and use SAP Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Work Order Process, production schedules, and reports.
Essential Skills
Five (5) years of experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training.
Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair.
Experience with HMI panels and SAP systems.
Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
Advanced mechanical aptitude and understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature, and pressure gauges.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
Experience using Microsoft Office, including modifying basic reports and documents.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Vocational, Technical, or Associate Degree in Machine Tool, Machine Maintenance, Industrial Electrician, or related field.
Experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, and/or packaging industrial experience is preferred.

Work Environment
This role involves constant exposure to extreme heat, loud noise, dirt, dust, odors, and fumes. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, crawling, kneeling, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting, and lowering weights of 10 to 50 pounds. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas. Additional hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, may be required. The work may be assigned to one or more buildings within the main campus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
Company provides medical, dental, vision and 401k. As low as $72.22 per month for individual, and $274 a month for a family. 401k match dollar for dollar up to 3%, and 50 cents on the dollar on the additional 2% contributed. Total of 4% match if employee contributes 5%
