Job Type: Full-Time, On-site position in Lancaster, PA
Job Summary: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to our Construction Estimator/Purchaser and project teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist multiple Construction Estimators/Purchasers
Write, file, and send Purchase Orders
Receive and screen telephone calls for the construction group
Prepare outgoing and log incoming FedEx and UPS packages
Data entry in Sage for Purchase Orders
Store, organize, and manage documentation and files
Set up and manage Estimate and Project notebooks and files
Create and maintain a Master List of Subcontractors/Suppliers
Download, scan, print, and copy Bid Documents and Addendums
Organize and maintain project construction files
Create files and other documentation for Superintendent/Foreman
Copy and distribute all documentation to Superintendent/Foreman
Assist in Job File Preparation and Maintenance
Coordinate and assist other Assistants as necessary
Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Office and Sage is beneficial
Background in purchasing/PO is preferred
2+ years minimum of Administrative experience, preferably with a construction company or similar company
Physical Demands:
Occasionally lift and move up to twenty pounds
Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, and kneel
