Hiring Travel Industrial Electricians
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing electrical systems in industrial settings. This includes working with various @types of conduit, handling high-voltage electrical systems, and ensuring the efficient distribution of power.
Responsibilities
Bend 1/2" to 1" conduit, with a strong preference for the ability to bend up to 4" conduit (EMT, IMC, and Rigid).
Work with 480V electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ensure the efficient and safe distribution of electrical power throughout the facility.
Install, maintain, and repair industrial electric controls, including PLCs, motor controls, and other automated systems.
Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components using testing equipment and hand tools to locate and correct problems.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
Place conduit, pipes, or tubing inside designated areas.
Essential Skills
Ability to bend various @types of conduit (EMT, IMC, and Rigid) from 1/2" to 4".
Experience working with 480V electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Skills in ensuring efficient and safe distribution of electrical power throughout the facility.
Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electric controls, including PLCs, motor controls, and automated systems.
Expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Ability to connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
Competence in diagnosing malfunctioning systems using testing equipment and hand tools to locate and correct problems.
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches and moving heavy objects.
Skill in placing conduit, pipes, or tubing inside designated areas.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledgeable with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Experience working in industrial environments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Why Work Here?
This is a 10-week project. You will be working 7 days a week (8 hours a day) and be given a per diem.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
