Pay Range
\$96,900.00-\$133,200.00 Annual
This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make
upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant
experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this
position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
The Electrical and Controls Engineer II will execute plant support,
troubleshooting, and lead improvement projects for the Richmond, IN
facility and support capital projects for Johns Manville as needed. This
role will assist the Richmond plant in meeting or exceeding stated
operational, environmental, and safety goals. Mentor Junior Engineers
and Electricians as well as providing training. Will handle plant
projects from start to finish on a broad range of industrial electrical
and control system manufacturing projects, including scope documents,
engineering calculations and designs, specifications, cost estimates,
schedules, project justifications, and project training and
documentation.
Your Day to Day:
Ability to perform power, electrical & control systems engineering
for all aspects of projects.
Prepares and reviews technical electrical specifications for
equipment, processes and projects.
Troubleshoot and correct operational issues
Participate in/lead root cause corrective actions to prevent
re-occurrence of issues.
Provide on-call support to plant operations for electrical and
controls issues.
Assist in review and implementation of Corporate Specifications and
Standards.
Track and prioritize issues in conjunction with other departments.
Prepares and reviews technical electrical specifications for
equipment and processes projects.
Assist facility with manufacturing operations as well as execution
of electrical safety initiatives.
Maintain good communication with management and project customers
regarding project status, problems, and changes.
Coordinate, review, provide oversight, and manage external
engineering resources and consultants as needed.
What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering
technologywith a minimum of 3 years of experience in control systems
engineering in a continuous and/or discrete manufacturing
