Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our client in Hartford, Connecticut. In this contract position, you will play a key role in managing schedules, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. This will be a flexible, part time position and up to 25 hours per week through July of 2025. If you are interested do not hesitate to apply.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments to ensure efficient time management.
Assist team members with daily administrative tasks, offering support to ensure deadlines are met.
Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and resolving inquiries effectively.
Manage email correspondence by drafting, responding, and organizing communications as needed.
Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain organized and up-to-date records.
Coordinate and schedule appointments, ensuring all logistics are in place for successful meetings.
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to create and edit documents.
Support team members with ad-hoc tasks, contributing to the overall productivity of the department.
Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience managing calendars and scheduling meetings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including email correspondence.
Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Prior experience in data entry and record-keeping.
Customer service experience, demonstrating a problem-solving mindset.
