About the Role
As a Design Electrical Drawings Intern , you'll play a key role in the creation and refinement of electrical schematics and layouts that drive automotive innovation. You'll work closely with experienced engineers to ensure our designs meet technical and safety standards, contributing directly to the success of future mobility solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Drafting and updating electrical schematics and layout drawings for upcoming automotive projects
Assisting with the review and revision of existing electrical designs
Collaborating with senior engineers to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with HRC standards
Supporting cross-functional engineering teams with documentation and design development
Using CAD software and analysis tools to validate and optimize electrical layouts
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Junior or Senior pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.)
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and in teams
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience with Formula SAE, BAJA, Hybrid, or similar automotive/motorsports projects
Experience with MATLAB, FEA tools, and electrical system design
Knowledge of electrical standards and schematic drafting best practices

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
