Job Title: Senior Analyst, Corporate Insurance
Department: Treasury
Location: Princeton, New Jersey
Reports To: Director, Corporate Insurance
Job Summary: The Senior Analyst, Corporate Insurance will report to the Director of Corporate Insurance and support various corporate insurance-related activities. This includes proactively working with third-party administrators (TPA) claims handler to review and close insurance claims, supervising the clinical trial insurance procurement process, managing purchase order end-to-end process, and assisting the Associate Director with annual budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively work with third-party administrator (TPA) claims handler to resolve insurance claims for general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and clinical trial liability. Routinely provide updates and highlight important trends to the Director.
Assist with quarterly claims reviews with the TPA and insurers to track status of claims.
Supervise the Clinical Trial Insurance procurement process, including providing access to the tool, reviewing/filing email queries, collaborating with the broker on urgent matters, and reporting any tool-related issues to IT.
Assist the Associate Director with the annual budget process.
Oversee the Washington & Ohio workers' compensation site, including reporting, documentation, and payments for Ohio (annual filing and semi-annual payments), Washington (quarterly filing and payment), and North Dakota (quarterly filings and annual payment).
Manage the invoicing process for self-insurance and risks transfer policies, including the end-to-end management of purchase orders. Additionally, collaborate with the Treasury Accounting Team to ensure all reclassification entries are accurate and timely.
Update internal Insurance SharePoint sites as needed, including claims filing instruction for internal employees and stakeholders.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as Medical and Environmental Health & Safety, on risk management trends and best practices to promote safety and risk control culture.
Work with insurance brokers to assist the business in procuring and renewing insurance policies and certificates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related discipline is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
ARM (Associate in Risk Management), CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) designation, or other insurance or risk management focus.
