Position Summary
Provides a high level of customer service to patients ensuring smooth, efficient non-clinical care. This role encompasses a broad range of administrative and patient-facing responsibilities, contributing to a positive and supportive environment for our patients and staff.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Rev Cycle, Insurance Eligibility and Payments - Verify insurance eligibility and process payments paperwork accurately.
Registration and Checkout - Efficiently register patients ensuring accurate and complete information. Process patient checkouts including scheduling follow-up appointments and collecting copays.
Scheduling - Schedule and manage patient appointments across multiple specialties, optimizing schedules. Handle appointment confirmations and reschedule as needed.
Electronic Health Record - Accurately input and update patient information within the EHR system. Ensure compliance with HIPPA and other relevant regulations.
General Office Duties - Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and faxes. Maintain organized patient records and office supplies. Assist with general office tasks as assigned.
