The VP, PACE Business Operations assists the SVP of Healthcare, Regional Vice President of PACE Operations, and Executive Directors in all PACE business development activities. Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Fully Remote Salary: $155,000-$165,000 (Based on experience) Benefit Highlights: 403(b) Retirement Plan Career scholarships; Continuing career education and leadership programs; Dental and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (Vacation, Holiday & Sick Days) About the Job: Leads all aspects of PACE business and financial operations in partnership with the Regional Vice President of PACE Operations, each PACE Organization Executive Director and VOANS Finance and Accounting team. The VP, PACE Business Operations supports the accountable Executive Directors by assuring that available tools and resources maintain fiscal solvency and achievement of financial/stewardship goals in accordance with PACE Regulations, Three Party Agreements, state contracts, VOANS policies, professional standards, loan covenants and budgetary requirements. The VP, PACE Business Operations oversees all Business and Operational Improvement Plan updates and refinements. Essentials: Report financial and utilization metrics to evaluate, celebrate or improve the financial performance of individual PACE Organizations and VOANS Senior CommUnity Care PACE overall performance Assist in the preparation of annual budgets in partnership with RVP PACE Operations, Executive Directors and Accounting and Finance Staff Oversee budget variance analysis, reporting, and creation of action plans by Executive Directors to address financial performance Develop and analyze financial reporting for Senior CommUnity Care PACE Organizations, in partnership with the Accounting/Finance staff and RVP PACE Operations Assist in development and management of Accounts Receivable reporting for Senior CommUnity Care PACE Organizations with Accounting/Finance staff Manages the back-office support for Senior CommUnity Care PACE Organizations Provide direction and maintains effective systems for: Provider contracting and provider relations Claims management and administration Enrollment Part D Bids, Audits, and PBM activities IBNR management and reporting CMS Solvency compliance Participate in the program development activities such as RFP development, applications, program approval for payment and fiscal soundness Assist in the development, implementation, training and support of new VOANS co-sponsored Senior CommUnity Care PACE Organizations Communicate and cooperate with other members of the PACE Leadership Team Supervises, coaches, evaluates and directs assigned staff Assures consistency of Business Plans across all Senior CommUnity Care PACE Organizations Monitors and reports PACE operational effectiveness dashboards to facilitate program management and sharing and application of best practices (programmatic, financial and operational) Coordinates and leads Quarterly Business Review between PACE Leadership and Compliance and Performance Excellence staff Review data prior to submission to CMS or state agencies regarding PACE Assist in all financial audits, as needed and required by the Finance/Accounting staff. Performs other duties as required or requested. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; 10 years of relevant experience will be substituted from required education Master's degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred Experience with claims processing and administration preferred Experience with State and Federal regulations in regards to PACE Experience in proposal writing preferred * Experience with successful regulatory compliance At VOANS, we celebrate sharing, encouraging and embracing diversity.
