Location: Onsite in Minneapolis, MN (Full-time onsite for initial training, then hybrid Tues-Thurs) Duration: 3 months (Temporary Role) Compensation: $36-40/hr DOE Position Summary: Beacon Hill's client is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Administrator for a temporary 3 month assignment to support their benefits team. This role is primarily administrative-focused, managing health & welfare and retirement plans, with no strategic or consulting work required. The ideal candidate has five or more years of benefits administration experience, strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, Queries) and Word, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting contract opportunity that is hybrid after training in Minneapolis, MN. Key Responsibilities: Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including 401(k), health & welfare plans, and executive benefits. Serve as a point of contact for vendor management and daily plan administration. Oversee 401(k) plan processes, including demographic verifications, annual matching true-ups, and monthly profit-sharing contributions. Assist in Open Enrollment, vendor transitions, file audits, and compliance tasks. Maintain Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, and Life Certificates. Collaborate with IT on benefits program enhancements and perform system testing. Ensure compliance with federal and state benefits regulations (ERISA, PPACA, ADA, ACA, FMLA). Process vendor billing and handle data requests from internal and external auditors. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field Five or more years of benefits administration experience (health & welfare and retirement plans) Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, Queries) Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint Experience with Benefitfocus and SAP is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team settingThis is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Benefits Analyst looking for an impactful contract role with an established organization.
