Job Title: Assembly Worker
Job Description
Performs assembly in an industrial manufacturing environment utilizing various hand tools, power tools, and small machinery in a team setting. The expectation is to assemble according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans in the cell. The ability to sit down during assembly is required. Depending on experience, tasks could include electrical assembly and soldering, testing bearings by running through thread rolls, and using small hand or power tools to assemble actuators for various products.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery.
Follow Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans.
Conduct electrical assembly and soldering, if experienced.
Test bearings by running them through thread rolls.
Assemble actuators using small hand or power tools.
Lift and manage products weighing 30 lbs or under.
Essential Skills
Experience in assembly, manufacturing, packaging, hand and power tools, and inspection.
Ability to lift and pack products.
Proficiency with soldering, using a tape measure, and working on an assembly line.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and good attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow step-by-step directions.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit environment with about 2-3 people per cell. Available shifts include 1st shift (7 am-3:30 pm, 6 openings) and 2nd shift (3:30 pm-12 am, 2 openings). Training for 2nd/3rd shift candidates will take place on the 1st shift for 2 weeks. All candidates will start on Mondays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marengo, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
