Description
Our client, a well-established non-profit organization, is seeking a Temporary Accountant to assist with a data migration project from QuickBooks to NetSuite. This is a critical short-term assignment that will last approximately 2-4 weeks, requiring deep expertise in accounting systems and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate migration of financial data from QuickBooks to NetSuite, ensuring data integrity throughout the process.
Validate and reconcile migrated financial data to confirm it aligns with existing records and reports.
Collaborate with team members to identify and address discrepancies in migrated data.
Maintain detailed documentation of the migration process, including steps taken, issues identified, and resolutions implemented.
Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards.
Provide technical support and insights into how NetSuite can be optimized for the organization's needs post-migration.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in similar roles involving data migration between accounting platforms (preferably QuickBooks to NetSuite).
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite. Familiarity with non-profit accounting principles is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to identifying and resolving inconsistencies in financial data.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to meet tight project deadlines.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders during the migration process.
High degree of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial data.
