Description
A leading business management firm in West Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to provide maternity leave coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented financial professional with expertise in bookkeeping functions, particularly using AgilLink software. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring continuity of operations during the leave period.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Manage and record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, client billing, and journal entries.
AgilLink Platform Expertise: Utilize the AgilLink software platform for managing workflows, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate financial reporting.
Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing, including verifying records and ensuring timely payment to employees and contractors as needed.
General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare accurate and timely adjustments and reconciliations to maintain integrity within the general ledger.
Financial Reporting: Generate financial statement summaries and other reports as requested by management or clients.
Collaboration: Work closely with firm staff, clients, and external vendors to ensure seamless operations in all financial functions.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within a business management firm or similar environment.
Proficiency in AgilLink software is required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Advanced knowledge of software such as QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial tools is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in work.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with teams and clients.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the unique needs of entertainment, entrepreneurial clients, or high-net-worth individuals serviced by business management firms.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
