JOB REQUIREMENTS: Entry Level Welder (2nd Shift) Overview Perform MIG or
TIG welding on a diversified line of standard weldments using American
Welding Society welding symbols. Set-up, fit and position weldments
having a number of parts, use welding fixtures and jigs where
applicable. Work from blueprints and job layouts; use rule, square and
gauges. Work is subject to first and final piece inspections for
alignment, dimensions and aesthetic requirements. Use hand grinders and
dynafiles to remove weld splatter and sharp edges from metal materials.
Work on a wide variety of manufactured parts; most on thin-gauge
material. Responsibilities Required to pass Bruno\'s weld test criteria,
which includes AWS welding symbols and destructive weld test Maintain
D1.1 welding certification as applicable Knowledge of set up and
operation of welding machines to weld test requirements Read measuring
tools (tape measure, square, dial calipers) Operate hand/air tools and
electric grinders Read and interpret work instructions and AWS welding
symbols from blueprints Perform MIG or TIG welding assignments to meet
daily production while maintaining standards of quality and quantity
Identify and obtain accurate welding fixtures as called by work order
Count and verify weldment ID Number; enter data into computer software
to create paint tag for final operation Communicate shortages, scrap,
delays and any deviation of standard work to the supervisor when
applicable Perform metal finishing tasks and prioritize metal finishing
work orders to meet daily production standards of quality and quantity
Identify and count parts; categorize and apply paint tag for final

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: High school or
general education degree (GED) required. Some advanced education related
to welding or 6 months welding experience required. Skills and
Abilities: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating
and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Complete
standardized written documentation and correspondence. Professionally
communicate in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to perform
basic electronic tasks using computer software and Microsoft Office.
