Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior R/F Electrical Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to serve as a technical resource for the Program Office on Electronic Warfare (EW). You will carry out complex technical tasks and evaluate engineering performance of EW equipment for the Program Office.
What You'll Be Doing:
work with the Senior R/F Electrical Engineer in the Program to integrate and evaluate long range camera systems and ground/air surveillance radar systems within the program.
assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of UAS and RCIED systems at both domestic and international facilities.
conduct technical electronics testing and maintenance utilizing spectrum analyzers, signal generators, voltage meters, and network and cable continuity and verification test equipment.
utilize MATLAB, Python, or other scripting languages to collect scientific test data on Systems Under Test (SUT) and processing the data into a presentable end product for presentation.
assist in preparing briefings, presentations, and delivery of verbal and visual reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or an equivalent field degree) from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other scripting languages.
Experience in working with R/F propagation modeling and R/F spectrum analysis.
Experience in technical electronics testing and maintenance utilizing spectrum analyzers, signal generators, voltage meters, and network and cable continuity and verification test equipment.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Masters or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering field degree from an ABET accredited program.
Experience with requirements development, system design and integration and evaluation of long range camera and ground and air surveillance radar systems.
Experience integrating long range camera systems, to include visual and infrared spectrums, radar systems, radio frequency (R/F) systems, and other sensor systems related to UAS, cUAS, and RCIEDs.
Experience with installation of systems at domestic and overseas facilities utilizing fiber optics, ethernet, and microwave systems for content delivery and control.
Experience building Artificial Intelligence capabilities.
Experience creating R/F environment models of EW jammer equipment to predict the effective jammer range and look for unanticipated environment effects when it is deployed to fixed site locations.
Experience in briefing preparation, presentation, and delivery of verbal and visual reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
